
Stepping Forward Works puts the focus on financial stability for individuals and families. We currently offer FREE career pathway programs for those looking to land a good job with benefits. We connect individuals to high priority occupations through industry certified training, essential skills development, and job search assistance.
The program includes:

Program qualifications:

18 years or older
-
Have a high school diploma or GED*
-
Be a resident of Franklin or Fulton counties

Pass a drug test
-
Have demonstrated financial need
*Exception: No diploma or GED needed for Carpentry

Current Course Offerings:

36 hours of training over 6 weeks in repair of refrigeration-based processing equipment and other HVAC systems.
150 hours of training for welding skills needed in construction, fabrication, industrial and more. Upon completion of this class, students will be able to test for AWS GMAW "MIG" Welding Cert.
