Community Resiliency

Before someone can pursue financial security, they need to fulfill their basic needs and connect with community. The goal of United Way in supporting basic and immediate needs programs is to move clients to a sustainable way of life.

United Way Community Resiliency:

Winter Warmth Drive

Beginning each January on MLK Day, the Winter Warmth Drive collects donations to support the basic needs of families in our community. Monetary and item donations help ensure our neighbors stay warm, clean, and well-fed over the winter months and into spring.

Stepping Forward Works

United Way of Franklin County empowers community through Stepping Forward Works initiatives like job training, VITA (Volunteer Tax Assistance) and Money Matters education sessions.
