Day of Caring
We are calling to action volunteers to improve quality of life in our community. Spend a day volunteering with us to complete much-needed service projects at local organizations. Day of Caring is an excellent way to connect co-workers, students, neighbors, and friends to civic engagement in our community.

BECOME A SPONSOR:
Sponsors enable us to cover project supply, printing, marketing, and administrative costs to extend our outreach and implement this massive county-wide volunteer effort. To partner with us, please complete and return the Sponsorship Form. Sponsor Deadline: October 1
Agency Projects
If your agency is interested in hosting a project (or multiple projects) for Day of Caring, please make sure projects meet the following requirements:

The project should take about 3 hours to complete and be either in the morning from 9am-12pm or afternoon from 1-4pm

The project should take place on Friday, November 1 (other dates are subject to approval by UWFC)

Plan on a rain date of Friday, November 8

Any project supplies or equipment needed for the project not provided by your agency should be indicated in the registration form

Establish a Primary Project Coordinator and Secondary Project Coordinator that will be on site for Day of Caring - these people will be the contact working with the volunteer team leader to make necessary arrangements for completing the project

If your agency is submitting multiple projects, please register multiple times and complete one registration form per project.

Volunteers
Individuals and groups are invited to volunteer with us for Day of Caring! Below are the volunteer guidelines:

Plan on volunteering for 3 hours either in the morning from 9am-12pm or afternoon from 1-4pm (indicate your availability on the sign-up form)

For Groups: Establish one Volunteer Team Leader to be the contact with the project site (once UWFC connects you) and be responsible for sharing project information with members of their team
